This easy-to-use fold-out chart depicts the wildlife species most commonly seen in and around Australian towns and cities, from lizards and frogs to possums and butterflies.

Each has at least one eye-catching photo, while for some there are up to three images where there are differences between male, female, juvenile and so on.

The sheet covers 65 species likely to be encountered in urban and suburban environments – including in parks, backyards, built-up areas and wetlands – and groups them together for easy comparison and identification. Each concise written account gives some facts about the animal, including its ID, behaviour, calls and its size (measured from the tip of its bill to the tip of its tail), plus details of habitats and cities where it might be seen, including a listing of each state capital within that species’ range.
