The Loch Ard Disaster
The Loch Ard Disaster is the story of Australia’s best known shipwreck on the beautiful, yet treacherous windswept west coast of Victoria (Mutton Bird Island) in 1878. Only two of the 54 passengers survived.
The story is told by well-known fourth generation Australian documentary writer, Jack Loney. There are more than 50 lithographs, sketches, paintings, photographs and maps.
