Description
Southeast Asia Pilot
The Southeast Asia Pilot is a guide encompassing approximately 600,000 square miles of some of the best cruising grounds in the world!
From the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in the west to the gulf of Thailand in the east. A lot has happened since the first issue of Andaman Sea Pilot, this includes- new marinas, marinas under development, new resorts, new restaurants and other onshore facilities, changes wrought by the 2004 tsunami (though fortunately few of these) and more.
Seven countries are included: Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia and India’s Andaman Islands, each of which are covered in detail. All the information required to pass through or cruise and explore by yacht is presented in an easy-to-reference style. The authors have compiled the information over more than two decades of personal experience in the region and have invited a number of well qualified voyagers to update facilities and opportunities in this rapidly developing cruising destination.
The 6th edition sees the addition of Cairns (Australia), Vanuatu, The Solomon Islands and Greater China major updates to the chapters on Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia and minor updates to Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia and Singapore, Raja Ampat and Palau.
