Delivery Times:
Most shipments go with Australia Post. You can see their suggested delivery times here: https://auspost.com.au/sending/delivery-speeds-and-coverage
Please note that these are suggested delivery times, team Geographica won’t make guarantees on them, and nor will Australia Post.
Tracking:
Tracking is available for everything we send, though isn’t always sent automatically from Australia Post or our carriers. Please get in touch with our team if you require it and we can track it down for you.
Please select the Express Post checkbox on the individual product view page if tracking is required for these. (This is only required once per order!)
Local Pickup:
Local Pickup from our Hobart store becomes available after your address is entered.
Lost Items (Tracked)
Australia Post will compensate up to $100 if they can’t find where they put your tracked item(s).

Items damaged In Transit
In the unfortunate event that your item was damaged during transit, there’s good news! Goods sent via Australia Post are automatically covered under Australia Post Insurance Cover, up to $100 AUD.
Please get in touch with so we can help determine the best course of action. Australia Post Policy dictates that claims for damages can only be lodged by the person to whom the item is addressed, by presenting the damaged item and its packaging at a Post Office for a damage report to be completed.
Australia Post retail staff will submit a Customer Service Complaint on your behalf (you’ll need to leave the item and all packaging with them for processing).
You may need to provide supporting documentation as requested. This may include proof of identity, a statutory declaration, receipts for postage or the item itself, and other item details. We are able to assist with any of this.
All requests for compensation and Extra Cover claims must be lodged within 6 months of the item being posted.

Please remember to keep all the packaging material your items have arrived in, as these must be presented to the Post Office with the damaged item for inspection and submission.
Claims can take Aus Post approx 10-14 working days to process.
In the case of items missing from a package due to the packaging being damaged in transit. Australia Post will only compensate for the missing items, if all other items have arrived. Return shipping costs associated with a re-purchase are not covered by Geographica.
International Shipping
Due to the complexity of calculating shipping costs for some of our bulkier items, our website does not allow for overseas shipping, but it is certainly available! Please enquire via email so we can tailor a quote for you.
