Flames of Fear is a photographic and documentary history of the fear and devastation caused by bushfires in Tasmania since 1820.

The book covers the major bushfires which regularly devastated towns and rural farms. Huge fires struck in 1854, 1897-1898, 1933-1934, 1967, 2013.

This titls also includes much unpublished new material on the 1967 disaster.
