PlayAbels Playing Cards

The PlayAbels pack contains a standard 54 card deck, each illustrated with one of Tasmania’s ‘Abels‘ – a mountain classification for peaks which have a minimum elevation of 1100m, and a minimum drop of 150m on all sides.

There are 158 peaks that meet this definition, of which 52 are represented in this deck of PlayAbels. These peaks are arranged in suits roughly geographically, and represent a variety of regions, rock types and environments.

The cards were designed by a local mountain lover and made in lutruwita/Tasmania.
